As part of the School of Music, flutists get unique chances to shine in recitals, community events, and top-notch conferences, including the National Flute Association Annual Convention.
Our students build well-rounded skills by performing with various school ensembles, refining teaching methods, and collaborating across disciplines. Each semester, we bring in inspiring guest artists and professionals in Performance, Education, and Music Business & Entrepreneurship.

Tennessee Tech Flute Day

Join us on Saturday, February 3, 2024, for Tennessee Tech's annual Flute Day featuring Kristen Holritz, principal flutist of the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra, as our special guest artist. Delve into the world of flutes with Mark Wallace from Flute World, offering expert guidance on "choosing your new flute," while Chris Roush shares insights on "performing quick repairs on flute."

The event will be hosted in the Bryan Fine Arts Building at Tennessee Tech University. The registration fee is $15, covering the entire day of activities, lunch, and a swag bag.
